About Me

My journey to dedicating my life to Health & Fitness started as a child. As a son of an Army Captain (my first coach and mentor), I was a year-round student athlete. I loved sports and played everything I could - wrestling, basketball, football, volleyball, BMX, soccer, swimming, cross country, juggling … you name it, I wanted to play it. I played volleyball in college while studying Kinesiology and moved to play professionally for two years post-graduation. I also started coaching volleyball at age 18 and guided many teams to winning championships After years of coaching and playing, I witnessed too many of my teammates and players get inured on and off the court. I ruptured my achilles tendon at the age of 27 and this is when I started the path to train myself and my clients out of pain and an injured state. I dedicated myself to constant learning and working with mentors who push the boundaries of our anatomy, nutrition, and physiology (Paul Chek, Charles Poliquin, Pedram Shojai, Ben Greenfield, Dr. Matthew Cook, Justin Frandson, Justin Maguire…. to name a few). Today I am a practitioner of Active Isolated Stretching & Strengthening (AiS). I believe AiS is one key (along with many other therapies and modalities I have been trained in) to free my clients from pain, reconnect their mind to their body and rebuild foundational strength. I am passionate about working towards eliminating asymmetries and recruitment patterns that cause pain and dysfunction throughout the body I love working with athletes of all ages, individuals with chronic pain, and the elderly. I have been told I am highly intuitive with the human body and I feel lucky to be able to work every day with my hands, helping people feel better about themselves. Ultimately, my main goal is to reverse you out of joint pain, reestablish and improve your core and join stabilization strength, improve proper movement and strengthen your entire body - whether you’re 16 or 80 years old. I believe in laying a solid foundation of knowledge so that you can thrive on your own. When I am not stretching, coaching and/or training my clients, you can find me reading health books (my go-to book is How to Eat, Move, and Be Healthy by Paul Chek), advancing my certifications and education (I am currently enrolled in year 1 at CHEK Academy), geeking out on all things health podcasts (Living 4D, Complete Human, and High Intensity Health are my top three right now), and chasing waterfalls in the beautiful redwood forests.
